Easy renaming the way you want?

Now possible! 'object_final'? Done. 'object_mega_final'? Done. 'object_mega_final_004'? And done.

By running this script, a window pops up where you can choose a method to edit your objects name by filling out the textfields and pressing the corresponding button.

Easy to use and does not require any type of installation, just run the script. You can even drag and drop the script into Maya!
